D-Link DXS-3600 Series Rak Top-of-Rack 10 Gigabit Managed Switchs adalah satu set switch baru, kompak, berkinerja tinggi yang menampilkan latency wire speed 10G Ethernet switching dan routing yang sangat rendah. Ketinggian 1U dan aliran udara depan-ke-belakang atau belakang-ke-depan yang dapat dipilih membuat DXS-3600 Series cocok untuk lingkungan jaringan agregasi perusahaan dan kampus.

Sakelar DXS-3600 Series memiliki 8 atau 24 port 10G SFP + tetap dan dapat mengakomodasi lebih banyak port dengan penambahan modul ekspansi. Modul ekspansi tidak hanya menyediakan tambahan 10G SFP + port, tetapi juga meningkatkan fleksibilitas dengan memungkinkan 120G stacking1 atau koneksi 10GBASE-T dengan biaya rendah untuk aplikasi yang berbeda. Kemudahan Nyaman DXS-3600 Series menyediakan jaringan Anda dengan kemampuan switching Ethernet 10G berkinerja tinggi hingga 960 Gbps dan kecepatan forwarding hingga 714 Mpps.

Sakelar ini memiliki pasokan daya yang dapat dilepas dan baki kipas, yang memungkinkan switch memiliki arsitektur ketersediaan tinggi yang berlebihan. Saat memasukkan dua modul daya, kedua modul daya berbagi beban dan membantu memperpanjang masa pakai yang lain. DXS-3600 Series juga dilengkapi desain kipas modular; tiga penggemar dapat saling mendukung satu sama lain, menyediakan 2 + 1 redundansi untuk sistem. Standard Image (SI) memiliki berbagai macam Layer 2, VLAN, multicasting, Quality of Service (QoS), keamanan, pusat data, dan fungsi routing statis. The Enhanced Image (EI) menampilkan perutean IPv4 / v6 yang komprehensif termasuk fitur multicasting RIP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, dan L3 seperti IGMP, MLD, PIM-DM, SM, SDM, SSM, dan DVMRP. The Enhanced Image (EI) juga mendukung L2 / L3 MPLS VPN yang memungkinkan DXS-3600 Series untuk digunakan sebagai router inti dari lingkungan perusahaan, atau sebagai saklar agregasi di lingkungan MPLS.

Fitur Pusat Data  Data Center Bridging (DCB) adalah seperangkat perangkat tambahan penting untuk Ethernet untuk jaringan di lingkungan pusat data. Switch DXS-3600 Series mendukung beberapa komponen inti dari Data Center Bridging (DCB) seperti IEEE 802.1Qbb, IEEE 802.1Qaz, dan IEEE 802.1Qau. IEEE 802.1Qbb (Kontrol Aliran berbasis Prioritas) menyediakan kontrol aliran untuk memastikan tidak ada kehilangan data selama kemacetan jaringan. IEEE 802.1Qaz (Enhanced Transmission Selection) mengelola alokasi bandwidth berdasarkan kelas lalu lintas yang berbeda. IEEE 802.1Qau (Congestion Notification) menyediakan manajemen kemacetan untuk aliran data dalam domain jaringan untuk menghindari kemacetan.

Saklar DXS-3600 Series juga mendukung switching cut-through, yang mengurangi latensi saat mengirim data dalam jaringan. Hemat energi Seri DXS-3600 memungkinkan pengguna mengelola aliran udara dengan menggunakan konfigurasi modul daya dan kipas yang berbeda. Aliran udara depan-ke-belakang mengoptimalkan sirkulasi udara untuk memberikan pendinginan yang lebih efektif di seluruh sistem rak di pusat data di mana switch digunakan bila dibandingkan dengan aliran udara sisi-ke-sisi.

Saklar ini juga dilengkapi dengan kipas pintar bawaan. Sensor panas internal memantau dan mendeteksi perubahan suhu dan secara otomatis menyesuaikan kecepatan kipas dengan tepat. Pada suhu yang lebih rendah, kipas akan berjalan lebih lambat, mengurangi konsumsi daya dan kebisingan saklar.
